CAE Engineers needed for a leading developer and producer of next generation automotive chassis systems.
As a leading provider to top automobile brands worldwide, company has an established reputation for innovation, and provides a technically challenging and rewarding environment - offering a wide variety of in-depth projects and technology applications.
Will perform simulation, modeling, and analysis for optimization of automotive chassis systems. Develop chassis finite element models - solving stiffness, fatigue, and modal issues through design optimization for mass and cost. Develop optimization techniques for creating lightweight, high performance energy absorbing systems. Support all phases of product design and development process.
• Minimum BS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Applied Mechanics or other relevant technical degree, and 5+ years of simulation, modeling and analysis experience with multibody systems for automotive, aerospace, robotic, or other robust dynamic applications.
• Knowledgeable with multibody dynamics, NVH, linear and non-linear buckling and fatigue analysis.
• Experience with CAE tools such as Nastran, Patran, HyperMesh, ABAQUS, LS-Dyna or other similar tools.
• Proficiency in performing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and optimization.
Salary Range: $85 - 115K (depending upon experience level)
